HOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE WELCOME EVERYWHERE

HOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE WELCOME EVERYWHERE

Regards to my elders

Greetings ladies and gentlemen

Today I am gonna make sure that you are definitely welcome everywhere. I am back with another lesson from Dale Carnegie’s book ‘ How to win Friends and influence people’. So my proper respect to Dale Carnegie. ‘ HOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE WELCOME EVERYWHERE ‘. Here I go.

Do this and you will be welcome everywhere

Ever considered why you are interested in only some of the dogs in your locality and other dogs which you particularly avoid. You don’t get in contact with other dogs because you are not interested  in it. Breeds like Pit bull and German Shepherd are the kind of dogs which we usually avoid. But on the other hand breeds like Labrador, Bull dog, Poodle are the kind which we generally  adore. This is so because the vicious breeds are not interested in others but the friendly breeds like Labrador are really interested in us and as a result we too get friendly and interested in them. Such is the case with humans as well.

Whenever we look at a photograph with all your friends in it,it is human nature, you will see at your picture at first. If you truly want to make sincere and true friends, you just don’t have to get the other person interested in you, you too have to get interested in other person as well. Dale Carnegie says that one can win the attention of one of the most sought after person by getting him interested in you. Most deals in the business world do not happen because the one bringing the deal is not able to express himself and is not able to get the other person genuinely interested in him. Theodore Roosevelt, 26th president of the United states of America, was so friendly and interested in other persons such as his valet as well that resulted him writing a novel ‘ Theodore Roosevelt: Hero to his Valet ‘. A person gets a loyal customer to a shop only if the Shopkeeper shows a genuine interest in that person. It was found in a study that the most word that was used in a conversation was, sweet if you guessed it right, ‘I’. We are so much in us, that we don’t care or think about others and this is the only reason we are not welcome everywhere.

So, if you want to make sure that you are welcome anywhere , you have to make sure that you make the other person interested in you and  get yourselves in that person as well.

I will end here and again my proper acknowledgements to Dale Carnegie and Pocket Books International.

Ok bye….I hope I continue in future.
